78 Derngate is at the heart of ‘The Cultural Quarter’ of Northampton. Remodelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1916 for the Bassett Lowke family, Morton Wykes Kramer have now been asked to design a new visitors’ area. 78 Derngate provides guided tours, that the current waiting area cannot accommodate due to its small size. Morton Wykes Kramer have started a feasibility study in order to preserve the heritage and extensive history of the site.
