A Celebration of Community and Sustainability
This year’s Architecture Week at 78 Derngate was a remarkable success, bringing together creative minds, design professionals, and the local community to explore innovative architectural concepts and discuss pressing environmental challenges. With a series of thought-provoking events, this week served as an exciting platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration. Here’s a look back at the highlights from the week:
“Towards Net Zero, but How?”
The week culminated with a powerful discussion, “Towards Net Zero, but How?”, chaired by Robert Prewett from Prewett Bizley Architects and Dominic Kramer from MWK Architects. Held at 78 Derngate, this event brought together industry experts to discuss groundbreaking approaches to retrofitting and the Passive House standard, offering actionable insights into achieving a net-zero future.
