Last Thursday MWK Architects celebrated the conclusion of the construction of the 78 Derngate Visitors Centre in the heart of Northampton, which is already listed as one of the main attractions in Northampton on TripAdvisor.
The extension comprises an enlarged ground floor area, an open terrace that connects the gallery with the 78 Derngate gardens, and a new mezzanine that interlink the galleries on the first floor covered with a six-meter high frameless glass box.
Our Director Dominic Kramer thanked all those involved in the project and all those who supported us on this incredible journey.
We are honoured to have been the architects for this project and work on the only house re-modelled by world-renowned architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Thank you to everyone who attended last Thursday, together with Liz Jansson and her amazing team, who looked after us and kept their fantastic shop open for all our guests.
