Office environments and commercial developments have started to change over the past five years. Perhaps influenced by the widely publicised offices of tech companies such as Google, Airbnb and the BBC North’s Media City, our clients have questioned the stale open plan norm. Whilst not wanting an office that resembles a ‘playpark’ they are asking for break out spaces, lounges, and meeting rooms with a separate identity from the actual office that projects a more creative and forward-thinking corporate image. Our work includes renovating existing offices and new build commercial buildings.
