After months of meticulous planning, MWK Architects is proud to announce the green light for our latest project: Sulby Close Unit 2. Nestled within the bustling Heartlands Business Park in Daventry, this industrial warehouse isn’t just a structure—it’s a testament to our solid commitment to both commerce and the environment.

At MWK, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a way of life. With Sulby Close, we set out to redefine what it means to be eco-conscious in commercial development. From day one, our vision was clear: to create a space that not only meets the needs of our clients but also enriches the surrounding ecosystem.

With Planning Approval finally in hand, Sulby Close is poised to set a new benchmark for energy performance. Designed to achieve an “A+” rating for energy efficiency, this warehouse is an example of how innovation and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.

But our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop there. Recognizing the importance of preserving and enhancing local biodiversity, we’ve incorporated a thoughtfully curated landscape design into the project. Native trees and local flora adorn the surroundings, while a pond, serving as a Sustainable Drainage System, nourishes the ecosystem and feeds into the nearby Drayton Reservoir.

Of course, meeting our client’s needs is paramount. With this in mind, we’ve maximized the internal capacity of the warehouse, creating a dynamic space with wide aisles that ensure a seamless flow for production—whilst keeping the footprint minimal. It’s a delicate balance of form and function, tailored to optimize efficiency without compromising on sustainability.

But that’s not all. In addition to the industrial space, Sulby Close boasts an office area  along with a double-height marketing suite that allow our clients to showcase their products and host events.

Sulby Close Unit 2 isn’t just a building; it’s a statement. A testament to MWK’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of commercial architecture, all while treading lightly on the planet we call home. Join us as we embark on this journey towards a brighter, more sustainable future.
