Case Study by MWK Architects

Braunston

The Braunston development was given to Morton Wykes Kramer to design 12 affordable homes for local residents as specified in the Local Needs Housing Survey. The design for the houses is drawn from the red brick vernacular found across Northamptonshire. In order to keep the traditional detail found in the existing homes of Braunston, the elevations include brick details around the windows and will include eaves detailing to pay homage to the village. The development achieved various government standards over and above local planning requirements, meeting our aims of sustainability.
